📌 Full show notes at https://www.luisfelipeduque.com/039 Big thank you to the podcast partners for making this episode possible PPI: https://www.luisfelipeduque.com/PPI2Pass Policygenius: https://www.luisfelipeduque.com/policygeniuslife Skillshare: https://www.luisfelipeduque.com/Skillshare I just want to begin this post by saying that no matter what the outcome of the exam, you are still a great engineer. I have been stressing over this exam for years leading to the actual exam (and a lot more the months and weeks before) but the reality is that no matter the outcome, I will still work as an engineer. I know of many people who have not passed their first try and they are still great engineers. Don't stress about it. I am planning to release a few more podcast episodes about this topic in the future but this one is just a broad overview of my experience preparing and taking the PE exam. It was definitively not an easy exam but if you prepare the right way, you will set yourself up for success. Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you have about the exam. What you will learn in this episode * What I did to study for the PE exam * Advice on what to do before the exam * Preparation for the day before the exam * Tips on taking the exam Resources Civil Engineering Reference Manual [https://ppi2pass.com/pe-exam/civil/breadth?affiliate=4455515545] Structural Engineering Reference Manual [https://ppi2pass.com/pe-exam/structural/study-materials?affiliate=4455515545] PPI Courses for the PE exam [https://ppi2pass.com/pe-exam?affiliate=4455515545] PE Structural Notes [https://www.luisfelipeduque.com/resources-sign-up] Music by Jack Winders Intro: Midwest Folks Outro: Southern Skies Website: https://www.jackwinders.com [https://www.jackwinders.com/] Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/JackWindersMusic Follow him on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/0msfukZWdVoUHIvpFvanTU?si=U5jKEdjfSTOetL12ispLcg Connect with me Sign up to my weekly email newsletter // https://www.luisfelipeduque.com/Newsletter My website & blog // https://www.luisfelipeduque.com [https://www.luisfelipeduque.com/] Instagram // https://www.luisfelipeduque.com/Instagram Twitter // https://www.luisfelipeduque.com/Twitter LinkedIn // https://www.luisfelipeduque.com/LinkedIn Facebook // https://www.luisfelipeduque.com/Facebook YouTube // https://www.luisfelipeduque.com/YouTube --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/engourfuture/message --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/engourfuture/message
